Cartridges & Batteries
Why is voltage important when using vape cartridges?
Voltage controls how hot your vape cartridge gets. If the voltage is too high, it can burn the oil or damage the cartridge. This kind of damage isn’t covered under quality issues, so it’s important to get the voltage right.
Do all vape cartridges use the same voltage?
No. Cartridges vary in the type of concentrate they use, their consistency, and how they are packaged. That means each one might need a different voltage. Always check the voltage before using a new cartridge. If you're unsure, it's always best to start low.
What happens if I use too high a voltage?
Too much voltage can burn the oil, damage the cartridge, lead to clogs or leaks and cause a harsh taste or feel. It can also make the vape less effective.
What types of vape batteries are there?
There are two main types of 510-thread vape batteries. Basic batteries have three preset voltage settings like low, medium, and high. Advanced batteries let you choose an exact voltage, giving you more control.
Which type of battery is better?
Advanced batteries are usually better. They give you more control and lower the risk of burning your oil or damaging your cartridge. We stock both types.
How should I set the voltage?
Check the packaging of your cartridge. Some brands will recommend a voltage range. If you’re not sure, it’s safest to start low — around 2.5 to 3.0 volts — and slowly increase if needed. Try not to go over 4.0 volts.
Why should I start low and slow?
Starting with low voltage helps you avoid burning the oil or irritating your throat. It also makes it easier to find the best setting for your specific cartridge without damaging it.
