Why Choose the Boveda 62% Humidity Pack?
Dried flower keeps best within a fairly narrow humidity window, and most storage setups drift out of it. A jar opened daily in a dry, heated home loses moisture steadily, while a damp room pushes it the other way. One-way options such as humidifying sponges or desiccant sachets only correct in one direction and can overshoot, whereas a Boveda pack responds to whichever way the container is drifting. If your prescription is dispensed in larger quantities and used over several weeks, that consistency means the last of it is in much the same condition as the first.
Using and Replacing Your Humidity Pack
- Remove the clear outer wrap before use, but never cut or open the brown pack itself.
- Place the pack in an airtight container with your flower and close it, the pack starts working automatically.
- For more than 28g / 1oz, simply add another pack. Using more than one pack is fine and extends how long each one lasts.
- Don't mix different Boveda humidity levels in the same container, or combine with other humidification products, as they counteract each other and reduce effectiveness.
- Replace the pack once it feels stiff all the way through. Boveda's own guidance is to replace around every 3 months, so it's worth having a fresh pack ready before the old one is fully rigid.
- Keep spare packs sealed in their original packaging until needed.
