FAQ's

How long does it take to receive my medication?

Your prescription will be sent to the pharmacy from your clinic. This will take 1-2 working days to receive, process and send you a payment link for your medication.

Once you have paid for your medication, we will usually dispatch it the same working day or next day if you pay after 3pm (Monday to Friday). 

Your medication will be posted by Royal Mail Special Delivery and take 1-2 working days to arrive. 

We strive to post your medication promptly, however, at times there are unavoidable delays depending on the postal service and stock of some medication. We will always keep you informed of any delays.

Do you ship UK-wide, including remote locations?

Yes, we will ship to anywhere in the UK except the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. 

Can I track my order?

Yes, once you pay for your order, you will receive an email confirmation, and when your order is dispatched you will receive an email notification with a tracking number.

Can I make part payment of my prescription?

We understand some of the products are costly. If you would like a smaller quantity to tide you over, you can request to take part of your prescription by contacting us.

Please note that we offer 1 free delivery for each prescription. If you want to part pay for your prescription and request the remainder at a later date, we will charge a delivery fee of £9 for all subsequent deliveries. 

Please be aware that your prescription is valid for 28 days from the date it was issued. If you part pay for your medication, you will have up to 28 days to request the remainder of your prescription. 

How is my prescription sent? and when is it delivered?

Once you have made payment, if this is done by 3pm, we will do our best to send the item to you the same day. We use Royal Mail Special delivery which aims to guarantee delivery the following working day before 1pm. 

Remote areas and Northern Island can take 1-2 working days to deliver medication.

Can I make changes to my prescription?

Changes to a prescription cannot be made once written and sent to the pharmacy. Your clinic can of course issue a new prescription if you change your mind about some medication or a particular item is out of stock.

Please contact your clinic if you wish to change anything on a prescription and the clinical team will write a new prescription for you.

Which clinics does Montu Pharmacy work with?

Alternaleaf is the sister clinic to Montu pharmacy and we work together to serve patients who are registered to Alternaleaf. Montu pharmacy also works with other clinics. 

Do you offer refunds and/or returns?

We don't offer refunds or returns of medication. However, we're here to ensure your satisfaction in other ways, such as addressing any concerns or issues you may have. Please feel free to reach out at hello@montu.uk if there's anything specific you'd like assistance with or if you have additional questions.

Does Montu charge a delivery fee?

Delivery is free, except, if you have asked for a prescription to be dispensed in more than one part. Part one is free, and  £9 delivery is charged for each additional part on the same prescription. 

When should I pay?

If you pay before 3pm, we will dispatch your medication the same day pending stock availability.

Payments received after 3pm will be sent out the following working day. Payments made after 3pm on Friday will be sent out on Monday. 

Which delivery service do you use?

We use Royal Mail either Special Delivery or Tracked 24 so items are sent for the next working day, sometimes they can take up to 2 working days for some remote locations. If you are in Northern Ireland or remote parts of Scotland, your medication may take a little longer to get to you. 

Are vape pens included with vape cartridge prescriptions?

Please be advised that vape pens are not included with vape cartridge prescriptions. If you require one or need a replacement, please let us know before paying for your medication and we can send you one for an additional cost of £9.50.
